A Little Patience Please...

While I work out the kinks in my Blog-reno. I'm such a technotard so it might be a while.

The only somewhat, even remotely but not really interesting piece of news I have to share with y'all is that it looks like I have successfully usurped my Irishman's friends. This means that we should have a fairly healthy Irish contingent at the party this Saturday... And, my crazy Calgary friend KS will be in town as well...

KS+ Irish People+huge patio+booze+Uncle Herb(maybe)= A Fecking Good Time!!!

The thought had also occured to me to invite some of my former lavaboys, to pad the attendance. With the exception of Jeff, who now hates me, I left on pretty good terms with all of them. Would that be wrong? Or would I just being opening up a can of worms? I've got no interest in dating any of them at this point... but I would love to hear, from just one of them:

"Damn, what a cool loft. And the patio? I think I've creamed in my pants!!! And to think, I could be dating the chick who lives here. Too bad I am such a metarded loser"... and now, Bea returns to reality.

TTFN,
Bea

I did invite RD... but he's very elusive. He never got back to me on whether he could make it. We'll see. Wish you could be here too! Will say Hi to the Sundog for ya!

I don't think I want any of your ex-PNBs "creaming their pants" on our patio.

Ew.

On a happier note, glad the Irishmen's friends are coming. I invited our crazy landlord this morning, but I don't think he heard me over his own ranting about how it was "too quiet. West Nile wiped out 80% of the crows last summer."

Uh huh... I shook my head in mock despair. "It's awful, isn't it?" I replied.

So I don't think he's coming. He's too upset about the birds.

I'm sorry to hear that our crazy landlord hasn't gotten less crazy. Maybe he's off his meds.

I, for one, am glad the crows are gone. There is nothing more annoying than trying to sleep in on a weekend and hearing CAW CAW CAW... SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LS...

You SHOULD come... TO is not that far from DC is it not? How spur of the moment cool fun would that be?

You've got a place to crash... as long as you don't mind bunking with KS... he doesn't snore... that loud anyway.

Seriously, let us know.

ULH...

Hey there. Didn't know you were still reading. Sigh... Sadly, you were one of my more normal boys, Lava or otherwise. A scary thought.

Now that you know about Saturday. Feel free to pop by with friends, SO's etc...

Ta,
Bea

PS... A man's point of view every now and again MIGHT be helpful for all us clueless girls ;)

I think I have said too much already...btw, I did NOT initiate the whole "csbf" thang. I believe it started with your roomie and the boy down the hall, then you asking/pleading me on what "csbf" meant and then wanting to know how one of those relationships worked...and then you getting offended (for the record). Also, for the record, I have gone out on one date since we broke up (ONE!)...I like reading your blog and seeing how "not dating" is really not that bad.

Oh Goodness Gracious... UHL... lol...I hate fighting with you... and would so much love to say that you were right re: the csbf thang... why you are bringin this up again now I have no idea??? silly boy... (LS: csbf= casual sex between friends). Of course you know me better than to know that I would just let it go...

You in fact brought the whole concept up when we were hanging out "as friends" one night... and I had no clue as to what it meant... remember? You had me play a guessing game? And yes, I did ask you how one of those relationships worked... coincidental that the roomie was going through something similiar at the same time...and yes, I did eventually end up getting offended... for reasons that I believe I outlined to you personally.

ANYway... I am glad you find my blog amusing (although a more sensitive person might have found a slight dig in that remark) and yes, sometimes when I read it I find MYSELF wondering why I date ... call it A.D.D., boredom or whatever. At least it gets me out of the house and provides hours and hours of enjoyment for my friends and complete strangers. Despite a few ups and downs here and there, I am really happy with my life at the present time... much different than when we last spoke.

Um... So, does this mean that you are NOT coming to our party on Saturday???

OK, OK no more fighting, just the lovin'...lol.

As before, without any friends or SO's, I would feel a little out of sorts at your par-tay...likely just another night hangin' with Ollie.

Have fun, glad you are really happy.

Unusually Head Large... smrt, I is...

Thank you re the no more fighting...

And I KNOW that you have friends... or you could always bring Ollie... he can hang out with the other 2 cool kats...

Or you can hang out with the other former PNBs... Looks like a few are coming. You could form a "I hate Bea" Club a la the "I hate Rachel" Club from "Friends"... you could get together over a few pints and talk about all the crazy things I did to drive you all away. Good Times!
